Spring in the country…

JM is here! I have been on my own for quite a while so it is great having company. I think I am doing all the talking and appreciate a kind listener.

My study schedule is still rather light so today I accompanied JM to Hadong to visit his father’s grave. It was freezing when we left but really warm in Hadong. There was a plum festival going on when we arrived and there were people and cars everywhere, big change for a quiet regional city. JM’s cousin accompanied us to the graves and we did the round of 6.

We had two wonderful meals cooked by JM’s sister in law, she gave us lots of gifts it was very nice to see her. I was rather pleased with myself- today for the first time I managed to have a rather long conversation with the in-laws, until today the problem has been the dialect but today I seemed to cope! Yeah!!
