By the time 3rd January comes around (my birthday) I am usually a tad tired…nothing has changed because I am feeling exhausted.

On New Year’s Eve I was in the kitchen for 11 hours…this year, only one child has come home but because I am me、 I made enough for all of the 6 of us…. But JM and son1 loved my food so it was worth the effort…..

In the afternoon I dropped off some food to one of our employee’s home and then JM and I did the rounds of our closest shops, delivering delicious Japanese Osechi food made by an Australian….

In a week I am doing a presentation for the Sanin branch of Seiwa Juku. This will be the first long presentation in Japanese that I have ever done…..  I have also spent considerable time teaching myself to jazz up the power  point…have learnt lots of new things and can even edit photos now. I just didn’t have time to teach myself things like that when I was submitting academic assignments.
