Forever in gratitude to our ANZAC Diggers, we owe what we call freedom today due to your sacrifices. It is however, hard not to ponder on wars’ great sadness and waste.

They shall grow not old,
As we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning
We will remember them.

Happy Birthday little brother….

。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

Yesterday was my brother’s 50th birthday. 50 is a big milestone in our family as Mum passed away at 49. Dad was looking really happy.

We took a photo of the four of us with Dad.

I made sushi for little brother. He was so pleased with how it tasted that he suggested he not do a PhD but open up a little sushi shop………

Cute pictures…….

My 15 year old niece sent me photos of her pet bird. It seems that her generous father bought a table tennis table ….but no one plays because they are hopeless. It seem the pet doesn’t feel the same way and is a little territorial about it all…

News that sells……don’t forget there is always another perspective.

Do we have to accept the media’s perspective on issues? Can we stop and ask ourselves if what is being shoved down our throats day by day is true or it just news that sells? Just when I was getting sick of the ROK/ Japan/US rhetoric on the DPRK satellite I found this article with a far more reasonable perspective-
