昨日の投稿後 素晴らしい 映画を見ましたー「道―白磁の人」をみて 浅川巧さんの事を 初めて 知りました。残念ながら 彼のことは あまり知られていない ようです。
浅川 巧（あさかわ たくみ、1891年（明治24年）1月15日 – 1931年（昭和6年）4月2日）は朝鮮民芸・陶芸の研究家・評論家。朝鮮半島で植林事業を行う傍ら、朝鮮半島の陶磁器と木工を研究紹介した。韓国の首都ソウル郊外の共同墓地に、浅川巧という一人の林業技手が眠っています。彼が生活した当時の朝鮮半島は、日本による植民地統治のもと、朝鮮の人たちへの蔑視や差別が当然のように行われていました。そんな社会情勢の中、彼は自らの意志で朝鮮の国と文化と人々を理解しようとし、そして、心から愛しました。墓の碑文には、ハングルで「韓国の山と民芸を愛し、韓国人の心の中に生きた日本人、ここ韓国の土となる」と刻まれています。
日本と韓国の 掛け橋になろうとした 良心のある浅川巧さんについて 色々調べてみたいと 思います

After my post yesterday, I watched an amazing Japanese movie-Michi- a hakuji no hito (The man of white porcelain) and learned about a man called Takumi Asakawa.
Asakakawa was born in 1981 in Japan. During his life he worked as a forest engineer in the colonized Korea and with his brother he promoted Korean ceramics.
He lived in Korea in a time when Japanese regarded Koreans as second class citizens. However Takumi lived as a Korean, and died at the age of 40 after delivering his final words “bury my bones in the land of Joseon.” Beloved by the locals he was given a funerary procession, and would posthumously become well known for his work promoting Korean culture.
Unfortunately Asakawa is not well known in Japan, I hope to do more research into this great man and respect him for his integrity.
