失敗連続の 新婚旅行にならない 参考 Some suggestions for a trouble free honeymoon…..

鳥取に　帰り　ブログの　ネタを切らして　どうしようかと　思っていました。 にんじんの　ブログを　気に入ってくれたら　嬉しいですが・・・
毎日　寒くなる前に　川の　どての　散歩を　満喫しています・・・・
　そうしたら　新婚旅行から　無事（？）帰って来た　ロメオ君に　新婚旅行の思い出話を　聞かせて　貰えました・・・・・　やはり！自分の　結婚式で　失神するような　男は　新婚旅行で　何もなしの　はずは　ないようね・・・・・
失敗連続の　新婚旅行だった　そうです・・・・お嫁ちゃん　可愛そう・・・
こんな　新婚旅行にならないように　参考にして頂けたら・・・・・
＠グランドキャニョンに　参加するはずの　ツアの集合場所を　間違え　置いていかれた・・・・朝　５時半から待っていたのに・・・
＠ロスで　素敵な　レストランに　行くはずだったけど　お迎えの　時間を　間違えて　キャンセルに　なった・・・・・・
＠サンフランシスコの　レンタカー事務所で　国際免許証が　ないことに　気がついて　余分な　出費を使って　電車と　タクシーで　ナッパに　行かれたそうです・・・・
＠　サンフランシスコ　で　お嫁ちゃんの　買い物を　させないで　空港で　買わそうと提案した　けど　→　空港で何も　売っていなかった！　可愛そう・・・・さすがに　お嫁ちゃんが　怒ったらしい・・・・・・　我が家の　お土産も無かったかしら？？？
とりあえず　仕事に　無事（？）　復帰しました・・・・（恥ずかしい）

I have also been going for lots of walks near the river.
The groom who passed out at his wedding is home…..well, just.
If you are stupid enough to pass out at your own wedding it would be impossible to go on a Honeymoon and with no slip ups……
Well, it seems he had a few…..oh dear! His poor wife.
Maybe his mistakes might be helpful for those who aim to have a trouble free honeymoon-
@ He waited in the wrong place ( 5.30am) for his tour to the Grand Canyon and got left behind
@ He had the wrong time for his limousine pick up to a restaurant in LA and the reservation was cancelled
@He couldn’t rent the rent a car he had planned because he didn’t have an international license and ended up spending a fortune on travel to the Napa Valley
@ When his darling wife wanted to shop for souvenirs in SF he advised her to wait until they got to the airport and then there was nothing for her to buy…………
Oh dear!!!
He is now back at work…..

地産地の野菜・訳ありにんじんと 我が家のジュース・ Local produce, cheap carrots and our morning juice.

健康的な　食品を選びながら　環境のことも　考えています。あれも　これも出来ないので　私は　出来るだけ　地産地のものを　買うことにしています。　遠くて１００キロ　出来れば　５０キロ以内のものを　選ぶ努力をしています・・・　鳥取は　空気が綺麗で　退屈なことこかも　分かりませんけど　お野菜は　安くて　美味しいです。　ダーリンと車で　県外に　行ったときに　道の駅を覗いてみました（鳥取から　４０キロ）。そこで　訳ありの　にんじん１０キロ＝１２００円を　買っちゃいました！　毎朝　飲んでいるジュースに　最高！　今朝は　にんじんを　５本使って　ジュースにしました・・・美味しい！！！

Choosing healthy foods and doing your bit for the environment isn’t that easy. I try to buy local organic products, and I have made my own rule….I will buy local products that have been grown within a 100km radius
but preferably 50kms….. Tottori has clean air, it is boring but it does have great local produce. JM and I were travelling in the car when we passed a local farmer’s market ( 40kms from Tottori). We stopped the car and I managed to buy 10kgs of carrots for 1200yen!! Wow. Great for our morning juice, this morning I ended up consuming 5 carrots!!

鳥取と　言えば　空気が綺麗、静かＡＮＤ　退屈な　ところ・・・・・・
勉強に　追われている日々が　懐かしいこと　と　家族のために　台所に立ち　大好きな　料理をする　との　葛藤に　悩みます・・・・ 息子の　お弁当・・・
今日、ダーリンが　取引先から　頂いた　長野県の　りんごを　むいてくれました・・・・甘くて　中の　ミツの　美味しいこと！！
私がりんごが　好物です・・・・・

I find myself reminiscing about busy study schedules and feeling caught between wanting to study and wanting to look after my family as I do love to cook.
Today JM peeled me the most delicious apple I have ever eaten. It was a gift from a colleague ( thank you) …just take a look at how sweet it looks……..and my son’s lunch box

North Korea attack on island causes international alarm
北朝鮮の　突然の砲撃の根拠は何でしょう？？　休戦以来　どうして　このような　大きい　挑発的なことを　するでしょうね？　新しい政権　（３世の　正雲）の　支持派か　反対派の　ワザに違いない・・・・ソウルの　友人に　聞いたら　ソウルの　空で　戦闘機を　見ると　やはり　怖いそうです。

Why has Northern Korea suddenly attacked the South in such a vicious manner? It is reported to be the biggest provovation since peace was declared in 1953. WHY??? It definitely seems to be related to Junior Kim Jong Un, either his supporters or the army who is against him have been part of this act of war.
My friends in Seoul report feeling a little worried seeing and hearing the extra deployed jet fighters in the skies of Seoul.

結婚式でまさかのまさかがおきました。A “scream of a wedding”.

楽しみにしていた　幹部社員に　結婚式が　無事（？）　終わりました。お嫁さんは　本当に綺麗で　彼に勿体無いほどの　素晴らしい方・・・縁ですね。結婚式は　暖かいふいんきで　進んでいるところ　フィナレの時間となりました。　新郎さまが　立派な挨拶を　読み上げたところで　その　まさかが　起こりました。はい・・・お酒に　弱い彼が　完全に　倒れてしまいました。披露宴会場は　大爆笑でした・・・　怒らなかった　新妻に　頭が下がります・・・・
お幸せに・・・

The wedding of the year is over….one of our managers finally got married. His lovely bride made the day, she charmed us all with her beauty and grace. It was a warm and intimate wedding and the genuine pleasure the guests got out of seeing the charming couple made it such a special day. THEN the unbelievable happened………the groom isn’t much of a drinker and he should have been more aware of his own limitations. After he gave a wonderful speech at the end of the wedding he passed out and had to leave in a wheel chair. Lucky his aunt is an experienced nurse! Poor bride….I hear she wasn’t angry.
May they both have many happy years together…..

自宅に帰り疲れ気味の私とジューサーの話・ Tired me and my new toy- the juicer.

自宅に帰り　荷物の整理が　終わったかと思えば　ドーンと疲れが出ました。毎晩　１０時間以上　寝ています！！
でも　我が家の新しい　ジューサーで　元気をつけようと思っています。これなら　野菜不足の　心配は無さそうです。今朝の　朝食の　ジュースは　にんじん・生姜・りんご・ゆずです・・・最高！！鳥取の　ＪＡ市場に行き　安くて新鮮な　お野菜を買わなくちゃ・・・・・・

I have been home for two days, after unpacking I have been feeling sooooo tired. I have been sleeping 10 hours a night.
I do have a new toy though….my juicer! This way I can drink more veggies than I can possibly eat. This morning’s juice was apple/carrot/ginger and lime……yummmmm!!
I will be making regular trips to the local farmer’s markets to buy cheap and fresh veggies and fruit for the family.

韓国・・・さようなら。 Goodbye Korea

インチョン空港です・・・無事　住まいをチェックアウトをして　寂しかったけど　又　何時か来れます。
空港までの道は　混んだけど　空港内は　すべてスムーズでした。外国人登録書を　お返しをして　出国　手続き完成・・・・
無くなった　口紅を買って　ラウンジで待機中です・・・・・
これで　１人生活とサラバです。嬉しいです。

I am at Incheon Airport. It was a little sad saying goodbye to everyone I knew in the apartment where I lived but I will be back….
The road to the airport was busy but everything went really smoothly on arrival. I handed my foreigner’s registration card back, stocked up on some new lipstick and I am now waiting in the Asiana Lounge.
The end of living alone………….I like that.

韓国留学の最終日です・・・・My last day as a student in Korea.

今日は　韓国留学の最後の日でした。矢張り　寂しいですね。今はシドニー大学院の発表を　待つのみです。
この何日か　非常に　ばたばたしました。少し疲れ気味です。　しかし最後に　義父のお墓参りに行けて、そして明洞大聖堂に　おミサに参加してお礼参りが出来ました。
この一年で　色々ありました。振り替えたら　自分を見つける期間でもあったかも分りません。　早く結婚をして、自分のアイデンティティは　「誰の奥さん、誰のお母さん」で　必要とされることは　幸せと感じながら　自分を失っていたと　思います。
韓国を　もっと深く　理解出来る機会となりました。韓国人の暖かさ、情の深さに　１人で生活をしている　私はどれだけ　助けられたことでしょう。　大学院の　教授の態度には　一番残念でした。
最終的に　利用された気持ちになりました。１人は生徒を　苛める、セクハラを平気でする・・・・もう１人の若い教授派が　私が「No」が言えれないと知りながら　大量の校正を　私にさせました。韓国では　博士号を持っている人が　多過ぎて、そして　博士達　のエゴの凄いこと・・・・
若い学生に　教えられたことも多くて　韓国料理も大好きになりました。
このような機会を与えてくれた　主人に深い愛　と理解に言葉で言えることが出来ないほど感謝です。
今後は　前向きに　次の冒険に挑戦！！

Today was my last day in Korea. I now await for to see if I get into Sydney University.
I have been really busy these last few days, but I had a chance to travel down to Hadong with JM and visit his father’s grave and I also went to Mass on Sunday and thanked God for this year.
This has been a year of new things and a journey in search of my own identity. Living in Japan I am someone’s wife and someone’s mother. It is good to be wanted but it is also important to find yourself in life. In my time here I feel I have come to understand the Korean mentality and I like what I see. Living on my own was never easy; however I was helped along the way by many, many kind people. Koreans seem rough on the surface but they are extremely kind and extremely generous.
I learnt a lot from young classmates and I enjoyed their company, my main disappointment was Korea University with a bully and intimidator and then another young professor who used me as her slave proofreader because she knew I couldn’t say “no”. There is too much abuse of power in Korean Universities, there are also too many people with inflated egos just because they have a PhD.
My year in Korea was only possible because JM love and understanding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Now it is time to move on to my next adventure…

G20の晩餐会をテレビで見ました・・・ I watched the G20 reception on TV

G20のため　ソウルはお祭りモードです。先、テレビで生中継の　晩餐会の到着様子を見ました。
李大統領が　来賓の歓迎振りを見て　大事な順位がよく分りました。　日本、アメリカ、オーストラリアではないかと思いました?　
確かに　日本と韓国には未だ　未解決の歴史問題は　多いと思いますが　日本より韓国が　歩み寄る姿勢が強いと思います。管総理と撮った写真、　李大統領の手を見てください・・・・・

Seoul is alive! There is an excitement in the air and Koreans are pretending they are the centre of the universe. I have been watching the arrivals for the G20 reception on the TV. Pres. Lee’s welcomes to the dignitaries says a lot about how he rates other countries in importance to Korea, in order, Japan, America and Australia? There are a lot of unsolved historical issues between Japan and Korea however I feel that Korea tries harder than Japan to make concessions, just look at Pres. Lee’s hand in the picture with PM Kan……

Skinfoodのザクロシャンプーとお爺さん達 Skinfood Pomegranate shampoo and old men

ソウルの　水が非常に硬くて　髪は何時も　パサパサして困っています。昨日　Skinfoodのザクロのシャンプーとリンスを　進められ　使ってみました。確かに良いかも・・・・今日は　数回もナンパされそうでした。気がついたら　お爺さんばっかり！！キャ！

The water in Seoul is really hard and my hair feels coarse all the time. Yesterday I heard that the Skinfood Pomegranate shampoo is great so I gave it I try. Seemed pretty good to me….today I had lots of men come up and say “hello”….. they were all OLD!! Oh well…….
